 Founded in 1920, the Fort Worth Kennel Club is composed of dedicated fanciers of pure-bred dogs. We are a member club of the American Kennel Club.

Saturday, September 25, 2010, is AKC Responsible Dog Owners Day in the Metroplex.

Sponsored by the Fort Worth Kennel Club, Inc., all breed specialty clubs in the area are invited to participate.

We expect to have about 32 different breeds on site with their breeder/owners.

Before you add a dog to your family, come visit with the experts. This free community event will be held at Veterans Park, Loop 820 west and Clifford St. in White Settlement, TX from 10 AM to 3 PM.

There will be a prize for the best decorated booth among the specialty clubs.

FWKC Activities

FWKC hosts two AKC All-Breed Dog Shows each year. In 2011 these shows will be held back to back on March 26-27 at the Will Rogers Complex in Fort Worth Texas. For more information go to the Upcoming Shows webpage.

 In 2011, FWKC will host an AKC Agility Trial on August 27-28, with the DFW Dachshund Club on August 26. For more information see the AKC Agility page.
