Exhibitors please note this message from Denise Tatro, FWKC Show Chairman:

Attention all EXHIBITORS coming to the Fort Worth Kennel Club weekend. A few changes this year due to the 2018 Golden Western Regional Specialty joining us. I have made this public, so please share.

WE WILL BEGIN EXHBITOR MOVE IN BETWEEN 10 AND 10:30 AS the Goldens have a specialty at 4:00. They also have an Obedience trial at 1: 00 but at the other end of the complex.

For those of you who wish to avoid spending the night in your van on Wednesday night, I will open Cattle Barn #2 at 8:00 am on Thursday morning, March 22nd. That building has concrete floors, HUGE fans, the best electric in the complex and the wash racks are in that building. It is heated, but not air conditioned, but to date, it has never been hot in there AND you can have x-pen. If you are showing at the Golden Specialty on Thursday afternoon, you can already be set up and grooming away. This building is directly across from the main building. Also, we have also rented the Swine Barn for overflow creating and grooming. Cattle Barn 1 and small exhibits has been gutted.

Before I address line rules, if you only have a few dogs, just wait until after 1:00 on Thursday and dolly in. We WILL find you space. We will still have space Friday and Saturday. So if you are just showing on the weekend, you don't have to come early!

Now, let's talk about THE LINE. Because of last year with all the chairs, dollies cones, ECT, I'm having the Fort Worth Police Department monitor the line. THE FOLLOWING WILL BE STRCTLY ENFORCED.

No one can be in line PRIOR to Noon on Wednesday, March 21st.

All vehicles MUST have an adult in attendance. NO VEHICLES UNATTENDED OVER NIGHT and you cannot just leave your keys with your neighbor.

If you need to use your van to go to dinner, you can put cones out while you are gone, however, the vehicle must return in a reasonable amount of time or the cones will be pulled. Just let the officer know and all will be fine.

Any vehicle left unattended overnight; I will be notified and that vehicle will move to the end of the line once it is occupied again on Thursday morning. Please don't make the FWPD call me!!

As always, we will number the vehicles in line on Thursday morning. You all have done an excellent job of getting vehicles in, unloaded and out in a timely fashion. BE ADVISED we will STOP driving in at 1:00pm so that Onofrio can finish setting the rings so Terry can get his truck out. We cannot begin the Specialty until ALL vehicles have cleared the building.

I promise you a AWESOME weekend; every member of the FWKC will treat you with kindness and respect. All I ask is that you do the same!

If anyone has ANY questions, ask them here or PM me.

Can't wait to see ya!

FWKC Show Chairman
